Seasonal fare, from the garden to the table

We don't buy fruit and vegetables. Our 90-year-old orchard, and heirloom vegetable garden which is grown from last year's saved seeds, write the menu for us.

The highly acclaimed, two Chef Hat Millbrook Restaurant is led and Head Chef Justin Wong and his passionate kitchen team. The team solely relies on the estate's orchard and one-acre garden to source all the restaurant's fruit and vegetables. Cultivated by Head Gardener Mitchell Seward, the seasonal produce inspires the ever-changing menu and is championed alongside locally sourced meat and fish.

With 100 varieties of heirloom vegetables, an orchard and other produce sustainably grown on the estate or sourced from local suppliers, our kitchen creates dishes bursting with flavour which pair perfectly with Millbrook’s premium wines.

One of Western Australia's most highly acclaimed restaurants

"Lunch at Millbrook is saddled with considerable expectations, which only seem to build as you make the hour-long drive to this seachanger's fantasy in the Perth Hills. Thankfully, the team is up to the task, from the cellar-door crew that bid you welcome to the cheery waitstaff that patrol the cosy upstairs dining room. The kitchen is also in on the act, highlighting ingredients grown in the property's sprawling garden. A lunch (and day trip) to be savoured."
WA Restaurant of the Year, 2024 Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide

"Millbrook’s ever-changing seasonal menu takes its cues from the estate’s sprawling one-acre garden, where 100 varieties of heirloom vegetables are grown. Creativity and colour are served up, alongside Millbrook’s premium wines, leaning strongly on lesser-known varieties, such as viognier, tempranillo and an epic GSM blend."
TimeOut's 12 Best Restaurants in Perth 2024

"Special-occasion restaurants thrive on big ideas and here it’s all about making best, sustainable use of a stunning location that’s about far more than its looks. You might take an hour to get here from Perth, but the food has not: your two or three courses are heavily sourced from Millbrook’s on-site farm, chosen today on seasonality and peak freshness."
2 Stars, WA Good Food Guide's Top 100 2024

“The buzz – epic, grand, simple, humble, wonderful, sustainable, beautiful. The very definition of hospitality.”
Rob Broadfield, The West Australian, March 2021

Two Chef Hats. Millbrook was the only restaurant in Perth to receive this highly sought after award and one of only three restaurants in the state.
Australian Good Food Guide Awards 2020

"If you were helicoptered in while blindfolded, told everything was grown on site and asked to speculate about where in the world you might be, it would be hard to guess. On Mondays, Mr Jeffreys serves what he calls his no-waste Monday meal, which has to be one of the best fine-dining deals in the world."
Besha Rodell, New York Times, January 2019
